Dr. Donald Shorter Sr. is a multi-faceted minister of the Gospel, an author of several books, and a highly effective ministry speaker, preaching and teaching The Word of Faith. 

He is the Founding Pastor of the Pacific Christian Center, home of Pacific Church International.  Pacific Church International is a vibrant, growing inter-denominational, multi-racial church with locations in the Northwest Regions of the United States of America including Renton (South Seattle), Tacoma and Vancouver, Washington;  with outreaches in Europe, Africa and the Philippines.  Pastor Don Shorter uses his gifted teaching style, mixed with his own transparent down to earth practical approach to effectively relate to the hearts and minds of people of all background, with the life changing power of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.  With his unique storytelling approach to teaching the things surrounding the Kingdom of God, he effectively speaks of life's simple, yet vitally important core values, delivering God's life giving truth to audiences worldwide through books, electronic media and itinerate speaking engagements.  

Dr. Shorter was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, his parents being of French, Native American, Spanish and African American decent.  His travels with his family as a dependent during his father's 24 years as a military serviceman serving abroad around the world, allowed him to live in Asia, including Okinawa, Japan, the East Coast, deep South and Pacific Northwestern region of the United States of America, and has given him an excellent understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds.  He has traveled and ministered in churches, conventions and in seminars, and at military family training events speaking on various subjects including, P.T.S.D. and P.R.F.D., (Post Response Family Disorder), in the Philippines, Europe, Canada, and numerous east coast, southern and western states of the United States, as well as at the West Point, New York, officer-in-training Military Academy. 

Pastor Donald Shorter was called into the ministry to operate in the Body of Christ as a Pastor - Teacher - Apostle, initially, at the age of 18, he was later ordained by (Apostle), Dr. Frederick K.C. Price, his Pastor, at Crenshaw Christian Center - home of The Faith Dome, in Los Angeles, California.  He holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Friends International Christian University, Merced, California and holds a Masters Degree in Business.  He is an FAA Licensed Certified Commercial Airplane & Helicopter Pilot.  He is also the President of The Shorter's Investment Company Inc. and The Shorter's Group Marketing Company, two for-profit companies he owns and manages.

Dr. Shorter is also the Founder and President of Northco Development Inc., a Community Development Corporation (CDC), located in the Tacoma/ Seattle area.  Northco Development Inc. is known for its lifestyle enhancing programs for youth, singles, families, married couples with Don and Kathy Shorter's "The Marriage Menders" symposiums, as well as for business men and women.   It is the home to The WordFirst Media Production and Advertising Agency, along with The Real Dads Youth & Mentoring Outreach program.  One of the many other agencies that operate through Northco Development Inc. is Excellence In Business International (E.I.B.I), a business training and incubation program, specializing in New Business Development, Mentoring, Management and Diversity Training services, as well as specializing in helping to provide Jobs On The Spot sm (J.O.T.S.), for potential employees with Excellence Skill- Set Training and Job Matching, Placement & Network Coordination assistance, provided at each E.I.B.I. seminar session.  Dr. Shorter and his staff has assisted in the establishment of several highly successful small businesses, and has instilled the spirit of excellence in scores of business managers, employees and entrepreneurs, utilizing biblical principles, taught through E.I.B.I.'s  8 Step Business, Management & Staff Training Seminars.

Donald Shorter and his wife Kathy Lynette Shorter have been married for over 35 years. They have three grown children; Monet,  Dawnet, and Donald Shorter Jr.  Their children and their spouses all work in
the ministry.  Don and Kathy Shorter have four lovely grandchildren.

Today, Dr. Donald Shorter and his wife, Kathy, minister
to various audiences as well as travel nationally and internationally, to speak to audiences extensively.
